But its obvious that this person does not want to be thrown in jail so doing something like poking holes in my tires can be done quickly and unnoticed while pissing me off and at the same time hiding his/her identity. I've set up security cameras outside my house overlooking where my car is parked and the bastard did it again recently. I thought I would have caught it on camera but after watching 24 hours of video I could not tell who did it. Even if I did, it might not be possible to identify the person from the video or the police might not take such vague movements in the video as convicting evidence.
I've considered putting cameras in my car but I'm not sure if the car battery will support it or how all the wiring will be done. Do you think car companies like Toyota will install the cameras for me?
I know at least one 'video vigilante' managed to get something on camera from one running inside the car. I have no idea as to how it was wired, size or power source. It also needs some major memory set-up to keep going all night long. It also needs to operate (extremely well) in low-light conditions and possibly the cold.
