How do I find short in cars electrical system?
My voltsjump high 16 17 volts then my car does not start, no power at all. Wiggle wire harness under hood, power comes back ?????. Is there a easy way or right way to look for short ?????
I think that you may need to look for an intermittent (not constant) connection. If there is no power, this sounds like an open circuit, not a short. If your voltage is high, then check for a bad voltage regulator.
