Installing a Double Din in 2010 Cobalt?
Does anyone know if the Double Din install kit is the same for 2009 and 2010 Chevy Cobalts... I dont think they changed, but I want to verify. I tried to call Metra 3 times today but they never picked up.
Also, is there any kind of special interface I need to install the deck? I know I need the deck kit, the wiring harness, and the antenna adaptor. Is that it?
The radio harness does not provide a switched power source. Run a wire to the fuse box for switched power. The accessory turn-on and amplifier turn-on are controlled by the class 2 serial network.You should call your local car audio shop for a bypass module for the body control module.Best of luck.
