ok quick car audio sub question?
ok so i have these pyle driver dvc 15s with a 4000 watt max each. I want to get a 4000 watt 2 channel amp. My question is can i bridge the subs so they get the complete 4000 watts each and not damage them? I know how to bridge them i just want to know is it too risky with it having the same max or will they be ok?
first off... pyles wont handle that much... idc what they claim... if you gave one of those 4000 watts max it would jump out of the box and run down the street with smoking coils... now you can use em if u want but i personnaly wouldnt give them more then like 500 rms... not max... rms watts... never look at max watts because it is a useless spec... and get a one channel amp for 3 subs... makes wiring them alot easier... also if you have any wiring issues go to www.rockfordfosgate.com and go to the wiring helper... it will show you exactly how to wire it
