Is it offensive to wear Rosary beads in the rearview mirror of my car?
I am Catholic and I have to admit, I do not pray the rosary. I have several rosary beads the my mother gave me when I was too young to understand what they were. Now, I keep them in my room along with other religious symbols, but, now that my sixteenth birthday is only months away, I was thinking of things to put in my car to remind me of Christ. Do you think it would be offensive to hang the beads in my mirror.
I know its illegal but I don't see the difference between beads and an air freshener! It doesn't block my view at all! Besides, none of the cops care where I'm from, so that part isn't the problem.
Do what makes you happy. I see a lot of rosaries hanging from the rear view mirror. I'm in California and I'm sure it legal.
