What do I need to add keyless entry to my 1988 Olds Regency?
The car has power doorlocks and trunk release but no keyless entry. A local audio store quoted me $300 for installation, but there are Viper (and other) kits online for $50 or less. Could I just buy a kit? How difficult is the kit to install? Thanks!
Its never the cost of the parts that are the problem.Its the labor.What type of doorlock system do you have?You will need to know this examples(positive pulse,negative pulse,reversal rest at ground)Can you wire relays?Go with the audio store it sounds like a good price if an alarm is also included.
