Tight Bass Pair
Should i buy Skullcandy's Hesh Headphones?

Basically ive just started djing and no longer want to use my old crap headphones.

im considering the skullcandy hesh. (pshh... only because they got some fancy design, im so shallow :/).

Now you would all say 'if you were smart you'd choose grado, sennheiser etc." haha but remember im on a tight budget and im after a good design and fairly good sound quality.

I usually listen to speedcore, terrorcode, gabber, hardstyle, j-core, basically music with alot of bass (occassionally death metal, visual kei and metal etc.) I heard that skullcandy's only really good for its bass and crap, but ive been hearing alot of negative feedback too. Then again under my circumstances, im still wondering if i should consider buying it.

~don't complain to me that 'they're not the best headphones', i know that :p! Id probably buy a pair of bose, despite its plain design, if i had the money xD!

Short answer, No. Even for the exact same price, skull candy head phones are terrible. The Hz range (bass to high pitch) is not as good compared to others of the same price.. If you look at the packaging, it'll tell you the Hz of the headphones. Any bass is below 50Hz. The $50 hesh go from 18Hz to 20,000Hz. A pair of $40 buds of all things can go from 8Hz to 25,000Hz. Skulls candy buds have the biggest difference (starting at 200Hz) but with the over-ear phones if the design is really that important, go for it, but if you're more interested in a bit more quality for your buck, check out other similar headphones by different brands.
