REGARDING T2 15'' Subwoofer?
I have a 2004 chrysler pacifica and I recently installed a Eclipse AVN-5435 Double-din with a 15'' Rockford Fosgate T2 and a T2001-BD amplifier with 0 Gauge wires installed....the subwoofer pumps in at 1000 Watts RMS and the amplifier is at 2000 Watts RMS my lights dim a lot so I recently bought a 6 Farad Kole Capacitor which I am about to install? I really cannot hear the words so I am thinking of installing 4-6 tweeters can someone please tell me what I should do? Will the capacitor be enough or will I have to change my battery and or alternator? My double din is really garbage because the navigation seems to not work properly I paid almost $2000.00 for the system and I am thinking of changing it any suggestions?
a capacitor is just a short term band-aid for the light dimming problem, you need to upgrade your wiring from the battery to the alternator, get a high output alternator, and get a deep cell battery for the sounds
the battery is used to start your car, after that the alternator keeps it charged and keeps your car running. so if you just add another battery or a cap without the alternator you will be putting more strain on the factory alternator raising the chance of it failing on you
as far as the clarity of the inside speakers you should get a nice (maybe two) component system with an amplifier going to them (all of those tweeters will be high note overkill, and still not really help with the vocals), and i would recommend Infinity's all the way around
this link should help you on your inside speakers (i recommend component for your situation over coaxial speakers) http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/S-1kSxdINMQQ4/learningcenter/car/speakers.html
hope i helped, good luck
