1993 Nissan Pathfinder XE V6 AT. rear stop lamps continuously lit. Installed new brake light switch=no change.?
Turn on headlamp switch in cab, rear lamps go out.Checked stop lamp fuse=not burnt.Wiring/ ground problem? Or maybe running lamp wiring/ fuse problem?Cruise control no longer engages either from this.
Thanks Jersey, but the dual filament bulb is installed. I also forgot to mention that the ABS warning light is lit on the dash also. Could this be a relative problem to the anti- lock brake system/ or activator that is resting beside the brake light switch?
For the rear stop lamp continuously lit - chances are the wrong bulb was installed. The stop lamp bulb should have two filaments inside and not one.
For the rest, electrical problems are a bitch. Sorry
