Any powered sub will have the connection you need. Only passive (non powered) subs use speaker wire only ( some powered ones have both connections). You could still use your sub if you buy a separate amplifier for it but you are much better off buying a powered sub. Entry level subs from better brands start out at $300+ or if you don't mind a bigger box you can get a Sony sub starting out at about $100. see the SAW2500 from Sony or the S8.3 from Energy. The Energy is much better but the Sony isn't bad for the price.
