How would a Memphis MCD-1000 amp work with my Solo Baric L7 15"?
found a deal on a slightly used MCD-1000 (1200w RMS @ 1oh stable) and want to know what you think about it running my DVC 2ohm solo baric 15" sub in a borted box?
for the record, ive been running a PRESTIGE 1000w class d amp on this sub for 8+ years and it finally blew...but the last time i saw them for sale they were like $80....i think i paid 300....so im sure i will notice a difference!
It would be great, but don't overdo it with the gain and bass boost. I think that amp DOES have the capability to blow the sub if you let it. It would take user error, but it could happen.
