Like if I ran a wire to some RGB LED's. I dont want the voltage to change on the line out to them, so how do I just always limit the voltage to 12 volts? I know this is possible. I have seen the electronics before, I just dont remember the name!
Well, the issue isn't voltage with LEDs but rather current. The current to an LED must be limited using resistors. An LED can care less of the voltage as the resistor will take care of this.
