Can I use power wire for ground wire? ?
I think they're the same material. So can I? Also, has anyone used a 4 gauge to 8 gauge wire reducer? I'm trying to set up a type R 500RMS sub to a 400 RMS alpine amp. Thanks!
I always run 0 or 4 guage to a distr block, then go from there, if you want to change colors.. thats fine, but i would get black at some point so you, and anyone else knows what the wires are for.. and its a subtle detail that looks good.. and is expected. No reducers.. distribution blocks handle that. One for the power and one for the ground
