Can anyone help me out with a 2000 Honda Civic Power Window problem?
The power window on my drivers side broke yesterday. I heard a pop, and now the window won't roll up. The problem is it is two weeks until I will have time to get it repaired. How can I take the door panel off to get it pulled back up? I can't pull it up by hand. It won't budge past halfway. I just want to get it stuck in the up position until I can take it to get it repaired. I don' want to duct tape it or tape plastic over it as that would be a driving hazzard (and just plain junky looking.) How can it get it pulled up and stay there for a few days?
you will have to take the door panel off to see what the damages are before you can figure out how to get the window back up, if the regulator won't move you will have to unbolt the window from it and put it up by hand and put a piece or two of wood underneath the window to hold it up until you can get it fixed.
