Moving to DC and looking for legal device for self defense. My preliminary research suggests that things like pepper spray must be registered with the police. (Which makes sense.) Are there other LEGAL options? Thanks for your help.
Thanks for your help and for the often humorous responses! I didn't phrase my initial question very well, however. I was referring to outside the home and hand in mind such things as kappo sticks, kubotons, asp batons, and knuckle-dusters. Are these legal in DC or will I have to use "everyday" items that mimic them such as a Mag-lite? What about restrictions on folding knives with regards to blade lengths etc.?
