when i connect the light green wire to ground it works i can see a movie but when i turn off the unit and turn it back on it says to engage the e-brake to view the video...?
this if it helps is for a 1993 honda civic
Best to use a toggle switch considering most radios you have to engage the brake, then disengage, then engage it again.
So just grounding the wire wouldn't really work.
You should get a toggle switch that just has two leads off of it.
Connect one wire to ground, and the other wire to the e-brake wire from your radio.
So then you just flip the switch to engage the ground, and you got video.
The link below is of a toggle switch.
You don't have to get that one, but just notice the two metal prongs coming off the back off it.
Try getting one with two metal prongs and its easy to wire.
