They come in 2 ohm a sub or 4 ohm per sub, they are the same price and i think i should get the 2 ohm because i can get a kicker zx2500.1 (2500 RMS) and that mono amp is stable at 2 ohms. so, cant i just hook them up to it because they are both two ohms? i am not very framilier with car audion and ohms and stuff, so, pleas explain in detail. the 15 inch type r is 750 RMS so i figure 750 X 3 equals 2250. and i hear that having a few hundred RMS over what is required for the sub is good, so thats why i chose the kicker zx2500.1 mono 1 channel. i just need to know if that would work without damaging anything electronically or if there is a better to get. i also need to know if i should get the 2 or 4 ohm sub. i already know i want 3 15" Alpine type r subs. thanks in advance.

2500 watts will require a new alternator you will not be able to run this off a stock one. My stock is 85 amp producing 1050 watts, half for car system is only 500.
