Blue LED or neon light rod for home?
i wanna add some Blue LED or neon lights as decoration around my entertainment system. where can i get them? im looking for like rods of it. like what you put under a car for underglow. Is there something i can buy to transfer the 12v (cigaratte lighter in cars) to a converter to plug in my home?
Well, there's a few different ways you can do this. First off, I'd recommend the LED's, as they use far less power than the Neon glow lights. They're also much more quiet and don't burn out near as fast.
As purchasing lights, I'd recommend http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini_tubes.htm as they provide the lights and the power supplies that you'll need.
You mentioned them being used for your entertainment system. Because of this, I'd recommend either their stationary lights, which you'd have to screw to your entertainment system ( I recommend doing this - it gives you a more professional look, and looks great when you mount them behind items you want to accent.
However, if your entertainment center has lips on the edges, or a place to mount it, the flexible strips available at http://www.superbrightleds.com/light_bars-flexible.html look great.
