what do i do when i try to install ubuntu 9.04 and all i see is a small horizontal blinking line?
i put ubuntu 9.04 onto a USB flash drive. after i did i rebooted my computer and got to the main ubuntu loading screen with the loading bar that goes back and forth. after that, it goes to a blank screen with a single blinking light. what do i do to get to the ubuntu desktop and install?
Put your drive in another computer and memorize the menu structure. Copy that on your computer.
Also download and run checksum5 on your copy of Linux. See if its not broken and compare your result to the one from Ubuntus website.
