Long story short I wanted to get LED bulbs for my dome lights in my 99 Galant. Well I bought this one from ebay and the bulb was too small. So I thought I would bend the metal connectors in the dome light unit down so they would meet the ends of this bulb. I broke one of the metal connectors off and lost. My question is, can I take the wire out of what's in the bulb and 'melt' it onto the metal connectors. Doesn't it all it need is a direct connection?

yes you can .LED'S have positive and negative side's test to be sure not to hook it up backwards or it will not light . insulate the connections you make so it wont short out
