Hi, i live in US now and hence got small light bulbs fixed to my silver deepam in India, converted to 110V (to keep lamps lighted inside my pooja room). It was working till 9months and now it suddenly stopped. I'm unable to figure out whether it is the adapter that has the problem or the bulbs. The filament inside the small bulbs seems to be intact. Then what could be the problem. I don't know any shop in US either where i can get this fixed as i got it made in India.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
The easiest way to fix it would be to replace the sockets with US standard ones, much easier to find bulbs to fit. And you can find those flickering bulbs as well for that type of socket. Any Home Depot, Lowe's or other hardware store should have what you need. Go to an Ace Hardware store, take the lamp with you, they generally have very knowledgeable people who can help you with this.
