the best place to install the red power wire into my car from headrest monitors?
i have 2 built-in headrest monitors that i have installed, but are not connected,
i think that they take up about 8W of power,
where is the best place i should install the red wire into?

Going to the battery if you have enough wire to prevent any RF Feedback or sudden voltage when you start the car. If you have electric seats or safety warning device on your seat belts you can wire it in to there, but I would suggest battery as your best route, just take awhile to hide the wire.
