how do i get my aftermarket car stereo to turn on automatically if the car's wire harness are missing?
the factory wire harness is missing from my '92 nissan sentra,(power, ground, speakers, etc.) so i ran wires directly from my stereo to the battery and speakers. the only problem i have wit that is i have to keep turning the power on/off manually everytime i shut off the car. what can i do to make it turn on automatically when i start my car?
There should be a battery wire, to hold the memory, sounds like that is the one you are using for power....you need to wire it to a "key-off" power wire. This wire only has 12v when the ignition is turned to "run" or "accessory".
