hello, i was wondering if anyone knew anything about hard wiring a power inverter , if you do could you please help me out on the steps i need to follow? I am a complete noob and treating me like a child is needed lol :p ( oh btw im running a 400 watt power inverter and i would like to it to have a switch so it doesnt drain my batteries)
Where will you be mounting it and using it? Where will it be in relation to the battery? in a camper? It needs to be mounted as close to the battery as possible then run the 120 through a conventional extension cord.
Most inverters have switches already installed on them and easy to follow instruction to connect them to a battery. Be sure to mount it where it will stay dry and have good ventilation.
