Can I wire my stock DVD system to display on the stock NAV system?
Ok, I have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. I have the rear DVD system from the factory with the flip down monitor. I also have a DVD Navigation system in the front. I know that from the factory, they cannot allow the DVD to display in the front because of laws. Is there anyway that I can bypass the nav screen to display the video in front? I saw a picture on a web forum, but I think that person used an aftermarket DVD setup. I'm asking about all factory components. Please only answer if you have done it or KNOW how to do it. I don't want any guessing, please.
yes there is a way. they sell an adapter on ebay and overseas. go to ebay and type in "jeep cherokee navigation" or "jeep navigation adapter" and one should pop up. thaz where i got mines for my infinity g35. its not complicated at all. it does involve some wire splicing.
