I have a kenwood kfc-w3011 that i am mounting in a gmc sonoma extended cab. Would it sound best to face it down, up, or back?
CL and Nathan, your both dead wrong. You need to know what your talking about before you start talking about it. Neither of you have a clue.
CL, there is absolutely no need to face the sub towards the rear at all, the sub does not need space to emanate before it rebounds. Learn about what your talking about first. The reason most people put their sub/s in their trunk is because the back seat is usually utilized. Mine is in my trunk because I have kids. Go find a clue, because you have none.
Nathan, if it is never good to face the sub up or down then why is that you can get down firing enclosures?, and why is it that Orion suggests that the HCCA line is up firing? I know, it is because you do not know what your talking about either.
To make this simple, it does not matter which way you face your subs, as long as you face them to where it sounds good to you.
