10 points for best answer! What is an "Uncoded Transmitter"? Is it a remote entry key fob replacement?
My dad works with property management, and he has been cleaning out a deceased Circuit City. He brought home a bag of "Uncoded Transmitters", and I really have no idea what they are for. They look like a remote entry key fob, so I'm thinking maybe they are like replacements or something. What is there value and why? On google shopping they go for $20-$30, so I am definitely going to sell them. Anyone that's interested let me know, these things should be on ebay shortly, and since they were free, I'm not going to charge an unreasonable amount. Anyway, whatever info you have would be great. P.S. Most of them are two button, but a couple are four button: does this affect the value? Most of them are "Viper" brand, and that seems to be a pretty common one on "shopping". I am basically curious about how they work, and what they're worth.
Check the eBay listings for what they do. Sounds like TV remote controls. If the other "Uncoded Transmitters" sell for $20-$30, list yours at $15 and you should make a bundle.
