What is the best size enclosure for a 12 inch sub woofer?
What kind of Subs? They have different characteristics and each one has an ideal Cu Ft. volume. For instance, Kicker Solobaric LS has a Sealed vol. of .88 to 2 Cubic Ft. For Vented, 1.75 - 3.25 Cu Ft.
To answer your question, what kind of Subs and are you looking at Sealed or Ported. Seal will give you better response and tighter bass. Ported/vented will give you louder and hard hitting bass. So, either sound quality or to THUMP, which is it?
