i have heard many different ways to put subwoofers in trunks but im still not sure where the best place to put them in. i have a 06 corolla and ive heard people putting them in the spare tire area, right up against the seat and having the subwoofers pointed toward the front of the car, ive also heard people saying put the subwoofers as far away from the front as possible. i would like to know where the best location in the trunk would i beable to get good sounding bass? (i have 2 alpine type x subs and 2 pdx, not sure if that matters but i put it up anyways.) thanks!
it depends on your car also for space and your use of the trunk.
If you dont use the tire area then us that space.my friend has alloy wheel and has taken his small spare out so uses that area asa boot install.My car has the ecu and battery in the boot so i have a small space to put one.
The best is try to find your car on the net may it be http://www.cardomain.com/ And see what others have done.
The sound issue is trail and error to where you can place it in the car ideally it needs to point towards the seats if poss and with sound deafening material where needed mainly under the sub install.
