I was wondering if it works in Canada. Because I read on Wikipedia:
that the standard here is ATSC. Please correct me if I'm wrong. There are DVB-T into ATSC converters, but it's extra cost. I was wondering, is it possible to get the DVB-T working in Canada? Has anyone tried it? Thanks.
well its kinda pointless without the converter, since DVB-T doesnt even broadcast in canada. not to mention, it may also be illegal to have any video playing in the front dash when your car is in motion.
i honestly wouldnt recommend getting that head unit, because first off, its an off-brand. second, if you were to get DVB-T converters, itd most likely just add up the cost of the head unit, and mounting the converter would also be a pain as well, and it would add a nice antenna to your car in order for it to be used.
it also depends, how often would you be watching TV in your car? if not much, then id select another head unit; you can get a great double din touch screen for about $200-$300 as well.
