I have currently ran a power cable and a attached a d-block on it. Whats hooked up to the d-block is a 3000 watt Boss Phantom amp and thats powering 3 1200 watt Sony Xplods. Another amp is a lightning audio amp hooked up to my 2 6X9s and a power horn speaker. Now for some reason my subs dont bang as hard as hard as they used to ever since i installed the lightning audio amp along with the speakers. Oh and my battery is a duralast gold, if that has anything to do with this situation. Please help. What did i do wrong?
more than likely you need to upgrade your power wire because it is not thick enough for the extra load on it (second amp)
your car's battery is used to start the car and run accessories while the car is off, when the car is running all of the power comes from the car's alternator so you would upgrade that before your battery
