What is the real purpose of the bathroom air fan?
What is the purpose of bathroom air fans? Some say it is to make up for the smell. Some say it is to block hearing of others for little slips on the toilet. Some also say it is for cool air when you are sweaty in there? Does anybody know the real purpose?
Well, the purpose of a bathroom fan was exactly what it was intended for and unintentionally helps masking. If you look at the top of your house you may find an exhaust chimney going from around the area of your bathroom through the roof. I saw this and realized it was the bathroom fan when I was up there cleaning the gutters.
It takes the air in the bathroom and blows it outward. Funny how no one believes it makes the room smell any better. Tells me some people have powerful poos!
