Is this a GOOD deal?
I have an 06 VW GTI MkV, and the shop offered me:
1 pair of Alpine Type R 6.5" component speakers
1 pair of Alpine Type R 6.5" coaxial speakers
1 pair of Alpine Type S 4" speakers
Installed and with taxes for: $650
is that a good deal?
okay... so lots of you guys are mentioning that there are some websites where speakers can be purchased for a lot cheaper... what sites are they, and are they safe? (as in, will they be new and stuff)
personally, i like alpine, focal, and jl audio... thats it!
and lastly... if its online... does it matter if the website is not an authorized retailer? because i know for a fact that focal, and jl do not sale their products on any website.

that amps at least a $220 amp and those subs are usually sold around 80-90 bucks a piece plus the amp kit $20 - $40
and by the way alpine is the best choice for car audio theyre simply the best....
also you can definitely find a better deal than that that would even include subwoofers and amp like the one on the link above....while all of those speakers will definitely sound great they are no match for the sound you would get with some big subwoofers and an amp
