Before i buy this product i want to know if its worth putting it in the car. Do you actually make a hole on the roof to fit the screws?? Do you have to alter any clothing or anything on the roof of the car to have this installed?? or you just stick on it?? What about the wires? How do you hide them? I want to know bec i might buy one in circuit city coz theyre 30% off but since circuit city is closing there is no refund policy and no warranties.. I already asked them and they had no clue bec they dont have any techs working there anymore. They stopped installation service.

It depends on the vehicle somewhat, but I usually have to do some cutting of the headliner to install the system. It's meant to be fastened, through the headliner, to the roof support structure. If the vehicle has a dome light in the mounting location, I can sometimes remove the dome light and route the wiring through that location, to minimize cutting of the headliner. There will usually still be screw holes through the headliner, however.
You definitely shouldn't think of it as something that can be removed and leave your vehicle in the original condition. There will definitely be alteration to the headliner, and in some cases, it will be very substantial alteration.
If it's important that your vehicle's upholstery remains undamaged, then you'll probably want to use a portable DVD player with multiple screens that can just be strapped to the backs of the seats. Another option is replacement headrests with built-in monitor screens. You can custom-order these from places like Myron and Davis: http://www.myronanddavis.com or you can purchase replacement headrests for your vehicle, from a used parts vendor or a dealer, and have a custom audio shop install monitor screens in those. In this way you'll have the original headrests available to replace the customized ones when you're ready to sell the vehicle.
