audio adapter for speakers for computer I WILL CHOOSE BEST ANSWER?
where can i find an adapter that i can connect a pair of stereo speakers to my laptop. im looking for something that has 2 holes where speaker cords can go in then one single audio cord that can plug into my laptop. please link it to me.
If the speakers have rca jacks and your computer has the small stereo output jack (for headphones) then there are adapters out there to connect. I used to sell these cords as I've done exactly what you're looking to do. I've even bought the rca plugs and attached the bare wires from 2 ft columns to them and then used the cable rca to stereo plug (single plug for headphones) to plug into the computer from a small amp unit.
Note that many laptops do not have enough output so large speakers (any speakers) require a power source such as an amplifier.
The adapter cable should be available at most computer stores for under $10.
