Ipod Audio not working, need help?
Basically, everything on my ipod works (still charges, plays videos & songs, etc) except the audio. A song will still play through but there's no sound at all.
It started when i left it out in the sun in my car. When i plugged it into the radio or AUV connection thing that lets you play your ipod in the car, it played through a few songs (sound was fine) then it started making this scratchy noise and the audio just shut off. It doesn't work with headphones either.
I tried the thing where you put the Ipod in the freezer for awhile but it only works temporarily. I was wondering if anyone knew any methods that could permanently repair the Ipod.
The headphone Jack is probably damaged. If it continues you'll have to either just look atthe iPod and imagine you're listening to it or you'll have to bring it to apple genius or send it to apple for repairs.
