what gauge of wire and brand of amp kit should i get for my sub and amp?
i have a 12" rockford prime sub in a sealed box (150watts rms & 300peak) run by a rockford 250watt mono amp and i still need the wiring kit. i want a good wiring kit but not too expensive. i had a guy at a speaker shop say he can custom make one fir $50
8 gauge wire should be enough to handle the watts your pulling. you can buy an amp kit from best buy for like $35-$40. Making it out of monster speaker cable is not to conventional since speaker cable is meant for sound not power plus monster cable is pricey in itself.
