how do you clean a black car cos iv got a new one, jetted it at the garage and theres splash marks all over it
are shammy leathers any good? do they scratch the paint work? do you use them when the car is wet or dry???
please help .
my hubby has a black VW golf and cleans it endlessley. Just clean using normal water and car wash (one like wash and wax is good if you dont have time to wax after). Then when it is drying off use a shammy leather to wipe all of the wet from the car before it strats to dry. make sure you wring the leather out as soon as it feels wet or you will just be smearing the same water over the car. It is basicalkly like a very absorbant cloth (you can also get microfibre cloths that do the same) which dries the car quickly not leaving those horrible water marks or streaks. They wont scratch the car dur to the material they are made from. If you have time wax it as well and polish really well using a soft cloth. Problem with black cars is they like fine after cleaning until you drive them again, then they show up the smallest amount of dirt!!
