Viper Car Alarm not working! Help Please?
The remote model is 479V/P/X. How do I go about programming it to work with my car? I've looked online and followed the directions but it still doesn't work! There is a kill switch under the steering wheel. There is also a little blue LED next to the steering wheel but it doesn't flash. There is a P button on the back of the remote.
I haven't used the remote since I bought the car earlier this year. I heard that if the battery is removed it resets the alarm system or something. Today my dad took the car to the mechanic and he disconnected the battery while working on it.
Oh yeah I forgot to mention that when I insert a battery into the remote the orange light comes on and it makes beeping noise.
Bring it to a viper dealer and they can reprogram it, sounds like it lost its memory....
