why does my 4 Gauge AGU Fuse holder keeps melting down..?
i have a crunch p1400.2 amp and cvx 12''.please help!
Mine used to melt the holder together so i couldn't get the fuse out, it was wonderful.
I would suggest looking for anything causing a short, (your power lead touching something it shouldn't be on the way to the amp) or buying some better quality 4 gauge.
They also make circuit breakers to use in the place of the fuse, it works just like a breaker in a house, so if you short, you just flip the switch instead of replacing a fuse. I have one now and it's terrific. They're about 50$
